At first I wasn't angry,
I always knew you would chose him over me.
I never thought I was amongst the first five in your heart
Maybe, amongst the top ten I dared hope.
How foolish I was hoping you would care.
That message was sent as a joke the action following all the same.
How I thought you would care to persuade.
Days passed yet you said nothing.
My disappointment grew and,
Soon I was mad, not at you though,
I have no right.
How could I have been so foolish?
Maybe, I never held a kindle to your heart
Again I let my feeble heart believe
Again I have been hurt a thousand folds.
Where all those hours of deep talks meaningless to you?
Stupid, stupid, stupid my mind screamed!
What made me play such foolish game?
My anger rose towards myself and never you
I wish I could push it outwards but...
This hurt I brought upon myself.
Who would have thought friendship's heartbreak would hurt more than relationship?
