In twilight's hush, he dawned with vibrant shades of darkness,
Sometimes a sprinkle of white blurred splashes.
Early loss of sight and ability to not witness the revolutionary ugliness of the earth,
a transformative test,
Grants him a story, yet to be told, and forever blessed.
Physically confined, yet unbroken in spirit,
He surpassed the able, his will unshaken, his heart unlit.
Breaking barriers, he defied convention's bounds,
A successful life, no liability found.
His disability, a mere footnote in his tale,
He crafted beauty from adversity's gale.
Rich in legacy, he left this earth behind,
A king in burial, his impact forever aligned.
Though I was young when his journey ended its course,
His strength, bravery and perseverance forever endorse.
His unyielding courage inspires me still,
A shining beacon, illuminating life's uncharted hill.
A hero, unmarred by limitations, his spirit soared,
A testament to resilience, forever adored.
