ABUJA SUBURBS (Poetry)

Abuja suburbs,
Abandoned like orphan.
Starved, deprived in desolation
Forsaken and left to fate,
So to fade
A complete eyesore to all
So debased and seen decayed
With nuisance value
It Inhabitants,
All exempted from amenities
As they face their reality
All that makes life, elude all
Every man,
To your tent Israel
None can blink at night
All paranoid
Trepidation and apprehension
Permeates,
Hesitancy and fear,
Their best companion
Elites in authority
So much disconnect
Creates a dichotomy and got selves
Blind to state of things.
Unsavoury delinquent,
Rule the roost
Urchins cut the shoot. Pimps
And gigolos hold the reins
Ladies of easy virtue,
Own the streets.
All ways,
A mess, so disgusting
Abuja suburbs,
Untapped goldmine
Though far from good, Yet,
Gifted and full of genius
Talents run in bloodlines
So organically endowed
Freestylers freelance freely. And
Though full of fools,
All applause their street credibility
