I looked into your eyes and I find myself drowning in the depths of your love.
It felt peaceful being in your arms, even if it's was for a little while.
I thought we'd make it till forever.
But little did I know,
Life had other plans for us.
I wish I had known that I would someday get into this endless abyss of pain.
Masking my pain with my loud laughters and smiles, to quench the fire burning in my soul.
I shouldn't have let my walls go down.
I see you looking at me from the corner of my eyes.
You steal glances at me,
Making my heart skip a beat.
But what do I do?
When the bridge has been burnt down.
Perhaps it wasn't supposed to be like that.
But at the end, I still am broken,
Maybe we are broken.
Like a vase,
Never to be repaired.
And if I get to be repaired, my scars would still run across my body. Claiming me, showing and telling me about us.
Somehow, somewhere
The hope still lingers.
That someday, everything would be okay.
That someday, I'd get to see you tell me how much you love me and how much I mean to you.
That someday, we'd get to have our home, and our mini versions.
I know, I might be day dreaming about it. But when true love exists, it comes with it all.
