This Man

This man here has been through a lot,
He is standing only because Jesus has been his lot.
Life has dealt him some deadly blows,
Jesus' grace has kept him from these woes.

In about four decades of living and existence,
With nearly three in redemption's newness,
Jesus Christ has been his Glow that shows
Through the thickets of life's stormy rows.

Perhaps you are going through life's toughest times,
So much you wonder what are your crimes,
I recommend you reach out to Jesus Christ too
He is a worthy Companion Who will see you through.
