In Abyss of Thoughts

This poem explores the daily life of a speaker, who finds solace and hope in pursuit of love and self-discovery; and delves into the Speaker’s thoughts, desires, and experiences as the Speaker navigates different realms of existence.

Daily,
Life hopes in love for a dance with me,
Snapping my impulse its way,
In the abyss of my thoughts,
On Me being here.

For what is more than life?
I have lived, but I have not got it.

The other worlds,
I was in a hurry to go to, hypnotized me.
I sought their words,
I wandered to their lure.
My life in their hope for love brought me over,
It was a greater buy,
Day by day.
Yet I thought of what was I doing here,
With every breath conscious within myself.

The day was silent,
Each of its kind brewed loud silence.
I was lewd,
Sometimes something good from someone
Cheered me on.
It was its truth,
Right on my wrist,
Without a twist of its sight,
A risk it took with time and souls,
That I may see at any price
The prize it obsesses for me over.

Now in this classic, I dance to,
I wonder in no danger no longer,
Unto the very music, where my soul is a mist,
To welcome the world into itself,
Where a finger is a factor,
Where every linger is a factory,
Where a word has its market,
Hoping to let the sunshine in,
To let my conscious divinity be my love,
Dreaming me unto triangles and cylinders.
Till the plunge
Of power and purpose,
Of people and spirits,
Propel me perpetually.
