It is with grief and sadness that I received news of the collapse of a part of Zaria Central Mosque and the death of some worshippers observing the Asr Prayer this (Friday) evening.

I commiserate with the families that may have lost a loved one, the congregants of the mosque and the Emir and good people of Zazzau Emirate Council over the unfortunate incident.

It is my fervent prayer that Allah, the Gracious and the most Merciful, will grant the deceased eternal peace and comfort their families. -AA
