NATIVE CHILD

Born out of dust and mud
The flaming smoke of the hut
Hunted me althrough the night
I'm the son of the earth
I walked barefooted to stand strong on the street of Gold
Bleeding through the pain of my feet
The black child of his mother
I heard the weeping tears of my mother's agony
Her bleeding heart carried the love and pain through the help of her companion
I sucked the breast of a black woman
Where she lad down to feed me with the wisdom our land,
On my forehead my father tattoo the strength of our ancestors upon me
When I remember the pain of my elders,
It take me down the street of hope and dream
I come from no place,
Where we lad on stone on a cold night
I remember how my mother will cover me in her rough rapper with love when it a rainy night,
I'm son of the soil
The one who blew the fire beneath the pot of hope
Through this struggle
I came into the land of sweet sorrowful pain
Depending on how you walk through
Where I sat I saw the wealthy and the poor walk upon the earth for daily struggle on the street of free town where nothing comes freely
The words of my father's came to me that the bird that feed on net of neighbors will soon come to meet it doom
Where I come from
The sky walks with the true and honesty of the people
But in the streets of hope
Your struggle begins from the sky
I am the the son of the soil
The native of Africa
The home of true and love
I am the gold bar of Nile
The prince of zulu
I have sat with the elder
The wisdom of old calling within me
When you point toward my wrong remember I'm the son of the soil
The maiden weeped of their lost pride
The sound of our jungle no long awake the rising of the giant in us
I am the native child
The black blood runs through my veil
I come from the beginning where it all begins
Like flame and rain
This was where we drawn our dreams from
Cos we light the earth with our love
I will blow the flame of fire till my voice is heard
I am the native child
This is beyond my color where ever I find myself I will lighten my world cos I'm a native son .
