LITTLE BEGINNINGS (Twisted Truths)
So I left the clutches of solitude to revel with the outside world;
To find solace for my broken soul,
To sew up what's left of my happiness like a torn kimono
To heal my diseased emotions
and amputate
this gangrenous anger that wells up in self-hatred;
To open up my doors instead of riding solo
But maybe I was wrong,
maybe association is indeed confinement
Maybe the cheers and the applauses only leads us to back to Pilate
Or maybe if only we'd existed alone, then
they'd have been no need for anyone to be termed as "violent"
So I'm heading back to the wild a loner,
to the very thickets that formed me;
To the den that holds the legacy of my dark ancestry,
to the very warrior spirit that controls me
I'm going back
to the days of my little beginnings:
To the happiness I once enjoyed in my nothingness
To the hope that lit my darkest nights
To the savagery that pulled me through the bloodstains of my toughest fights
To the days when darkness ruled the day
and no one was leaving the pack for the brighter lights
- for the spotlights
