ABSTRACT
From the shadows, they emerge, Beyond the name "Boko Haram" they surge, For it's not only them who bring fear, There are others, their actions clear, Prototypes of terror, they also adhere.
1.The politicians, masters of deceit, Manipulating power, their victory sweet.
2.The deceivers, weaving webs of lies, Masking their true intentions in disguise.
3.The chronic liars, with words so sly, Betraying trust, leaving hearts awry.
3.Business moguls, driven by greed, Exploiting others' needs with lightning speed.
4.The fake pastors and imams, preaching false hope, Using religion as a tool to manipulate and cope.
4.The bad wishers, their envy profound, Spreading negativity, bringing others down.
Boko Harams, they are not alone, These prototypes of terror have also grown, Their actions mirror the darkness within, A reminder that evil wears many a skin.
Let us not be blind, let us not ignore, The threats that lurk beyond Boko Haram's door, For only by acknowledging them all, Can we stand united, and ensure our nation won't fall.
POEM TITLE -BOKO HARAMS
Who are Boko Harams?
Questions are asked by some lambs
What a complex puzzle to solve,
We do more than killing our loves,
Now, who are Boko Harams?
Is it they that take masses’ sweat,
And gather them as sweet?
Or they that were lifted by a ladder,
And later brake it for no other to further?
Who are Boko Harams?
Is it they with sugar-coated mouths for lust,
And bitter-coated mouth for love?
Or they that call a spade a shade,
Just for ducats that will soon fade?
Who are Boko Harams?
Is it they that lead the flocks astray,
Just for them to be able to stay?
Or they that proclaim false prophesies,
Just for them to build their industries?
Who are Boko Harams?
Is it they who put power on the head,
Just to have helpless people's heads?
Or they that swim in light rivers,
But make others wallow in darkness hook, line, and sinker?
Who are Boko Harams?
Is it they who dwell in Sambisa Forest?
Or those who sell our future and fortune for their selfish interests?
Is it they who promise heaven on earth in an election
And later put us into economic deterioration?
Who are the Boko Harams?
Is it those tycoons who gather their wealth by exploiting the poor?
or those sycophants who exalt the wicked just not to get hungry anymore?
Is it those who, in your presence, smile at your face
but wish you always find your day in a maze?
or those who act like parasites, craving to quench your inner light just at the slightest chance of their sight
We can say Boko Harams do more,
More than we think they bore,
Let's assume any of these species
Has done worse than breaking into pieces
Boko Harams are everywhere around us.
