_Glory Of Time Pass_
The drum of Bata music fill the atmosphere
The children and women laughing
This is a pace of my people.
Far cries, the spirit whispers
A land where the sun never close its eye.
A land of peace and harmony
The golden shine of it's time
The golden age which it was.
Kings seek out in riches and wealth to see the beauty of my Abode
The panacea of man’s worried soul .
My father will tell me tales of how foreigners will travel decades to see the setting of our sun.
But to their amazement, the sun never set in the land of Gold and Oil.
Nations war to be seen on the track of the soil of my father's land,
Africa the home of divine wealth.
In my cradle bed, the moon will smile from a distance upon my face until I behold the maiden of Asia who sang songs of the gods
This was the beauty of Ethiopia and Sudan.
Until greed and power filled the eyes of our gods
The ones who we trusted with our lives betrayed us for the blood of a goat.
Now the sun is shallow of its glory
Eredo has lost its taste and the salt of our oasis is not valued.
My brothers have forgotten themselves
And my kins men warring me, but for what? I asked
Hmmmmmm
For the dirt of our soil
We now sell ourselves in slavery
And we blame the gods who deserted us
But éyé aiyé kòtó sings
And speaks the truth
Until we awake we can't sleep again
Until we bleed we can't be healed
There is blood shed and grief of vengeance
Some says it is our leader
Some say it’s our greed
Until the truth find its cause the dreams of our father will be washed away in blood
And until a king is given, the birth of the nobles will be servitude
And our pains will waste on currency that can't save.

Bí omo dé òkú
Àgbà ní dà
The future lies in our hands
Wake up once again
Illuminate us once again
Until the sun never set upon us again
We will not rest until we hear the birth of the beauty of our abode From the pace of our contemporaries.
Again the SUN Will Shine Again.
