TELL ME MY RIGHT.
I wish to climb the tree,
But all mouths make a decree,
Which strikes my hope and then flee.
They claimed all days remain the same,
But I wish to prove I am not lame,
That I am not like those they claim,
To be jẹgúdújẹrá (fraudster) as they often say.
Come out boldly and say I am not worthy,
Show me the book that restricts me from being worthy,
Or the inherited morals that agree with your saying,
That this ship, I am not capable of sailing.
For it's my dream to raise the flag,
And let the Earth knows its power,
It's time to brag about the green pastures.
It's my dream to unite the diverse birds,
It's my dream to bring harmony to all the tiers,
Tell me, if it's not my right,
And I won't stop but fight for my golden right.

Theme: MY NIGERIANS DREAM
I WISH TO SWEEP CLEAN
I am a broom of honour,
A good patriot of valour,
Often wishing to sweep away all horrors,
Hoping on dissipating all errors
But I am short and lack being clumsy.
My dream, my goals,
It's to be a broom that cleans and keeps a nation tidy like a rose,
But I have a loose rope to hold my waist,
So I can't cope and boast,
Am I been seen as a useless patriot?
I'm a mad man that his words has no meaning,
I'm a one man mopol I can't defeat my enemies,
Though I stand like a big fig tree,
Yet can't provide fruit to those who are wanting,
My Nigerians dream is nothing for I have no means.
Only those who have the sword can wield it,
Only souls that hold all the holes of roses,
Can command, control, and conclude to gush out the virtue,
Even if as a patriot, has a trumpet,
I have no air to blow.
My trumpet sings of no evil,
Yet it sounds rumble,
In their ear like a cry of wicked devil,
I ought to be humble,
And clear out all that seems to be evil,
That's my dream as a patriot.
