In the end, it was just me and my thoughts

A painful trap long after you were gone

Your absence created in me a void

And I'm suspended in it.

The wind motions, along with it's fragrance of alva

But the  odour of your absence surmounts it.

Everyday, I sit at your desk

Searching for unread letters I wish you wrote me

Wistful wishing

Ohh..you wrote promises to me on shore sands

Alas! They've been erased by the tide

Falling asleep on your bed while hugging your T-shirt

Wishing I would wake up with your eyes locked on mine

An apparition would suffice

All this feeble heart has to hold onto are stabbing memories

Causing scars in haphazard perforations

Yet I still hold onto them

Cause I'm scared that this heart will rot out of emptiness

Now, I want to paint these memories in my colours

on the fabric of time

An abominable art that should remain unseen.
