A TALE OF TRUTH AND ILLUSION.

The mirror lies, it's clear to see,
But still, we stare, with disbelief.
For in the glass, we see a dream,
A fantasy, a fantasy that seems,
So close, so real, so true to life,
But as we look, we feel the strife.
For what we see, is not the truth,
A lie, a sham, a cruel uncouth.
And yet we cling, to what we see,
The illusion, we can't break free.
So trapped, we gaze, we long, we hope,
But deep inside, the truth we know,
That what we see, is not the show.

The mirror's lies, they taunt and tease,
But deep within, we seek release.
We search and search, we yearn and strive,
To break the bonds, to set us free.
And then one day, we turn away,
The mirror's spell, we cast away.
And then we see, what we had missed,
The truth, at last, our eyes have kissed.
And now we know, the mirror's lie,
And free from it, we learn to fly.

So let us break the mirror's hold,
And find the truth, our story told.
Let us see the world, with eyes new,
Free from illusion, fresh and true.
The mirror lies, but we can see,
The truth, inside, finally free.
So cast aside the lies we've known,
And find the path, to make our own.
So let us break the bonds that bind,
And find the truth, within our mind.
