Purity Pills

Are you heart-ached by lust
Or by its habits painfully lost?
Do you seek a cure
For sin's infectious lure?

Is your loving heart waxing cold
As the end-time days unfold
Or your fervent spirit growing lukewarm
By temptations unovercome?

Herein lies purity pills
Prescribed for all heart-ills
Scriptural medications
Accompanied by helpful meditations

These are nothing but words
Which pierce the heart like swords
They carry in them light
Which directs your steps aright

The Word of God is the cure
To make your heart pure
Meditate on it night and day
And you will be firm in the Way
