MISCREANT'S ODDESSEY

All hands on deck, I was drowning in life
Working for a minimal cheque, I wasn't ready for a wife
Make it or you'll break, I was standing on the edge of a knife
One two mic check, this' the story I never thought when I was five

I grew up in a small town, later came to the city
Little boy now grown, ready to face reality
Streets full of them thighs brown, eyes locked on all the cuties
And you know I'm a boy clown, I like the ladies coz they all pretty

Wasn't ready for love, but didn't mind to mingle
With all the girls the city serves, why would you be single??
Enchanted by their curves, beauty being there jingle
Sometimes hit a nerve, then compensate with a tingle

Fast forward, I took a taste of a girly
Never once a corward, I approached her in an alley
Pushing onward, I pursued her dearly
Now things are awkward, coz she cheated on her boyfriend Charlie

I was born a fighter, but things were getting out of control
No day was brighter, every dawn rising with a killer troll
Grabbing my lighter, I visualise the holy scroll
I was the litter, and into the bin I took a steady crawl

I need saving, so I resonate with the heavens
Double check my ravings, careful not to create more mayhem
My walls' been caving, presenting a possibility of early elevens
And while I'm slaving, I pray my burdens lessen
