Is there still any Happiness in Me?
In the depths of my soul's inner sanctum,
Where shadows and doubts often intersect,
I explore the notion, a glimmer of light,
To dispel the darkness, to hold through the night.
Amidst life's tempests and tearful storms,
Through trials and tribulations, I've borne,
A subtle presence, a steadfast spark,
Lies deep within me, hidden in the dark.
Concealed, perhaps, beneath layers of pain,
Yet it murmurs softly, like a gentle rain,
Maybe, just maybe, it's patiently stored,
The happiness I seek, still within me.
Through life's winding maze, I will tread,
In pursuit of joy, not evading dread,
For within these depths, the chance might be,
Maybe there's still happiness dwelling in me.
