SEEKING BALANCE: THE PURSUIT OF CONTENTMENT AND SANITY

Most days as humans we find ourselves in situations that are both unwelcome and even sometimes harmful, especially to our mental health. The struggle for contentment and solace, a never-ending cycle, “no one can be contented” frankly has become my solace and most probably the contentment I so seek, just so I can move on from this incessant pursuit. I have also realized that we humans are like onions; “we come in layers” and so therefore, trying to strike a balance in various strata.
Ever heard the song; “All the Shine of a Thousand Spotlight, All the Stars We Steal from the Night Sky can Never be Enough”, It's relatable to our endless pursuit of contentment, never saturated. “Even the rich still cry” ain't no fallacy, they too are also enmassed in the cycle of never enough.
Well, I try to find a balance, for the sake of my sanity.
