Daniel Ivevbunu
Daniel is a practicing visual artist from Edo State, based in Lagos, Nigeria, born on June 6, 1999.
Daniel's fine artworks stand out among contemporary African artists as he explores various subjects with profound symbolism, sturdy textures, vibrant color theory, and other art elements. His practice of portraiture, society, and livelihood influenced his current style, predominantly using acrylic and oil, employing a palette knife to create texture.
He started his professional art journey in 2018, earning a certificate of apprenticeship. Fascinated by art from an early age, his passion drove him to become an art educator in secondary schools in Lagos.
Daniel has participated in exhibitions and art competitions, including 'Art of God' in 2020 and 'Art Expo' in 2021.
Throughout his career, he has created numerous artworks, ranging from pastels and oil paintings to acrylic paintings and pencil drawings.
