In just a week, the Yobe State Governor, H.E. Hon. Mai Mala Buni FCIA, CON, COMN, fulfilled his promise that his government is for the youth by granting permanent jobs to 267 youths and giving them influential political positions such as SSA, FP, and TA.
The governor has taken a stand to give the youths of the state powerful and influential political positions to improve their lives and provide them with sources of income, political knowledge, and leadership skills.
In just one week, the governor has approved several measures that have had a positive impact on hundreds of youths, some of whom have secured permanent jobs, especially those with education and experience in the health sector, while others have been given full access to political positions, including holding positions, special assistants, senior special assistants, public relations officers, and technical assistants.
The governor had earlier stated that his aim was to attract the youth and show them how to run a government and teach them politics and leadership.
“What I want is for the youth to learn politics and gain leadership skills, because they are our leaders of tomorrow; they are the ones who will decide our future politically and as leaders.” Governor Buni said
