They praised his efforts for bringing a sustainable solution to the leadership crisis in UMAPO.
The executive chairman of Potiskum local government area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, received special praise from the Yobe State Chamber of Commerce for his commitment to creating an effective leadership structure for the local government's merchants.
The executive chairman of the Yobe State Marketers Association declared the executive chairman of Potiskum local government area as a brave and champion leader as a result of his efforts to solve the problems in Potiskum local government marketers Association.
The chairman of the Yobe State United Marketers Association Muhammad Muktar Kime made the statement while condoling with the chairman over the fire outbreak that happened to timber traders at the chairman's office in Potiskum LGA secretariat.
"Mr. Chairman, the businessmen of Yobe state and those in Potiskum local government, we have no words to express our gratitude to you.
"We are very happy that you have taken the problem of the local government traders as your own problem. You have reconciled the problem that can disrupt the affairs of the leadership of Potiskum local government traders with your cold hands.
"In addition, you also provide good interim leadership in order to improve and revive the areas that have suffered setbacks as a result of the conflicts in the leadership of the businessmen's association that happened in the past; therefore, you are a leader and a shield for all businessmen in Yobe state, not only to Potiskum local government traders.
"I would like to say that the businessmen of Potiskum and Yobe state as a whole have appreciated you for the hard work you have done, and we emphasize our support to the honorable governor H.E. Hon. Mai Mala Buni and your leadership as the chairman of Potiskum LGA." Muhammad Muktar Kime confirmed
On his part, the executive chairman of Potiskum, confirmed that any success was achieved as a result of the support and good contribution of the executive governor of Yobe State in the development of business across Yobe State.
