The representatives of the Yobe State Ministry of Agriculture and Mineral Resources inspect the Potiskum local government pavilion and commend their efforts of showcasing locally fabricated machines at the Yobe State 2025 Agricultural Shows and Exhibition.
The representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture at the inspection included directors of various sectors and the other staff of the newly established ministry, the Yobe State Ministry of Livestock Development.
During the visit, the Potiskum local government head of the Agric Department, Hon. Adamu M. Jajere, welcomed them and showed them agricultural products, including seeds, a drilling machine, and a modern peanut press machine, which was also locally manufactured in Potiskum LGA.
The delegation commended the efforts of Potiskum Local Government Area for coming up with a new idea that will create business opportunities and boost agriculture.
"We commend this local government for its commitment to creating new ideas that will create business opportunities and boost agriculture in a systematic and modern manner.
"This initiative is in line with the intention of the government of Hon. Mai Mala Buni, FCIA, CON, COMN, to create jobs and boost agriculture and livestock businesses across Yobe State." The delegation said.
This feat was achieved following the dedication of Hon. Salisu Muktari to ensure that Governor Buni's vision of developing the economy and businesses and transforming agriculture into a profitable business is realized.
Hon. Salisu Muktari is playing a key role in bringing about many achievements for Potiskum Local Government Area and Yobe State.
