The Yobe State Government under the leadership of H.E Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON, COMN, is continuing to strengthen research and take urgent measures to address the problem of kidney disease across Yobe State.
After recognizing the problem of kidney disease in the community, Governor Buni has taken a special steps to address the problem and to find a sustainable solutions, which shows how committed the governor is to engage with the community and provide them with sustainable solutions.
Among the major achievements in the field of kidney disease is the continuation of the provision of free kidney care services across Yobe State, and the Governor has come up with a plan to save lives, reduce the cost of medicines for families and enable patients to have a better life by expanding the project and establishing a new system for providing quality health care in the kidney sector.
The governor then took immediate and far-sighted steps to launch a study on how to tackle the kidney disease by setting up a team of experts to conduct an in-depth study to identify the source of the disease in Yobe State.
Kidney disease experts are continuing to collect data and samples from different parts of Yobe State to develop a cure that will curb the spread of kidney disease across the state.
The development of a cure for kidney disease shows how Governor Buni is committed to responding to the grievances of the people of the state and providing them with solutions based on vision and knowledge.
