Yobe state came first position in primary health care leadership award, secured a prize of 5000 dollars

Yobe state under the leadership of H.E Hon. Mai Mala Buni has become first position in Primary Health Care Leadership Awardto in northeastern part of Nigeria, with the success of getting a prize of 5000 dollars.
The state has achieved this success due to the efforts of H.E the executive governor of the state H.E Hon. Mai Mala Buni in developing health care and modernizing the treatment system for patients in all parts of the state.
Under the leadership of Hon. Mai Mala Buni, the state has experienced and grown in the health sector where it owns more than 138 primary level hospitals with good facilities and adequate management system for primary health care.
In the same way, every Ward owns a modern First Level Hospital with an emergency ambulance to deliver emergency aid to the people of the state at any stage of illness or medical challenges.
Governor Buni has not stopped developing health services at the first level alone he has also upgraded many hospitals to specialist hospitals and building new General hospitals in different local governments across the state.
This success will be the first step to flow and attract the attention of our doctors to increase their efforts during their work.
Note: Yobe state defeated five of its peers including Borno, Adamawa, Taraba, Gombe and Bauchi state when it came first in the Primary Health Care Leadership Award.
