Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai, senator representing Yobe South Senatorial District, has set a target of spending 1.050 billion for youth and women cash support and Ramadan palliatives.
Today, March 3, 2025, the Senator launched the distribution of Ramadan palliatives targeting 40,000 households and smallholders across 4 local government areas of southern part of Yobe State.
The senator has already started providing business development support of 1,000,000 or 2,000,000 to small business owners across four local government areas where people from the 44 wards of the local government areas are being recruited to benefit from the multi-million naira business development program that the senator is providing.
One of the beneficiaries of this support confirmed that, "We are confident of becoming quality youths with a good business system following the multi-million naira grant we received from the senator representing this area, Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai.
"We have recovered greatly from the setback we experienced in the business sector; now we are not facing any threats in the business sector because these multi-million naira investments have boosted our business because whoever received two million or one million support is like being given a way to rely on ourselves."
