... A 17-year-old girl from Yobe State has emerged as the winner of a world "TeenEagle English language skills competition.


The victory of a 17-year-old Yobe native, Nafisat Abdullah, over students from 69 countries is a testament to Governor Buni's commitment to education across Yobe State.

The student beat over 20,000 students from 69 different countries across the globe in___ "TeenEagle English language skills competition".

Her Global success is a source of pride not only for the people of Yobe State but also for the entire Nigerians, as it is the first time that a Nigerian girl has managed to defeat 69 different countries with a total of 20,000 participants or more.

Nafisat Abdullah represented Nigeria from Tulip International College (NTIC), Yobe State, whose success shows the access that the people of Yobe State have to good and quality education and the well-being of the residents of Yobe State.

The parents and relatives of the English language champion have praised and Commended the Executive Governor of Yobe State, assuring that her success would not have been possible without the strong support of the Yobe State Government led by the Hon. Mai Mala Buni FCIA CON COMN to state's Education.
