The Yobe State Governor, H.E. Hon. Mai Mala Buni, FCIA, CON, COMN, has established seven modern markets across Yobe State since assuming office in his bid to create a strong economy for Yobe State and provide employment opportunities to the good people of the state.
The establishment of these modern markets will greatly contribute to the growth of income generation and the improvement of trade and business activities across the state by modernizing all types of businesses that can be relied upon by the residents of the state.
The governor built these markets to improve business relations between Yobe State and all interested investors across Yobe State, Nigeria and the whole world.
Also, their establishment is a sign of peace returning and the revival of financial channels and financial integration between traders and residents of the state. The fact that in recent years, even our local markets have been in fear of instability due to the insecurity, the creation of these modern markets shows that Yobe State has restored its peace and dignity in terms of security challenges.
The Yobe State government, under the leadership of Hon. Mai Mala Buni, FCIA, CON, COMN, has put all its efforts into completing these seven modern markets in order to show that peace has prevailed in Yobe State and everyone has the opportunity to invest in business, agriculture, or livestock.
The local governments that have benefited from the newly constructed modern markets include Potiskum, Ngalda-Fika, Gashua, Nguru, Damaturu, Geidam, and Yusufari local government areas.
These LGAs have been the eyes of Yobe State in the business sector and have regained their prestige to lead the business in the state following the modernization of their markets by the Honorable Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni FCIA CON COMN.
Yobe State is now a peaceful state that has different business and agricultural opportunities.
