WRITE EVERYDAY!

In primary school, there was a subject called "English Composition" and English Dictation. Actually, there were two more and they were "English Grammar " and the last one was " English Comprehension ".

A lot of people would probably think that they were too separated and the school could have merged everything together.

Perhaps, I thought that way too but looking at it right now, that's the best curriculum structure, I've ever seen.

It was detailed and targeted at equipping our very young minds, so we could have every single thing at the same time.

Every child's needs were attended to and that included, spellings, diction, pronunciation, grammar, etc.

These subjects were then critically arranged on the class timetable, in a way that, the pupils had everything to satisfaction.

Why am I bringing this up?
I'll tell you! If you continue to read extensively below.

You see, during class sessions like this, we were taught the art of WRITING!

Every single day, during classes and during after-school lessons that lasted for an additional three hours, we were given the privilege to write.

Do you know get where I am going with this?😊....I think you do!

I hear a lot of people ask, "How can I start writing?" or "How can I sharpen my writing skills?"

Some even think that, writing doesn't need practice. Well, forgive me but I'm going to say it plain right here.

"No matter the talent you think you have, you will not get better unless, you practice".

Read that again, will you?

The best way to sharpen your writing skills or even grow one, is by writing every single day.

When you do this, you will learn from your mistakes, especially spelling errors and the systematic intelligence that comes with giving a wonderful hook for your readers.

Now, you've heard it, what's stopping you from adding this to the guideline book of your writing 101.
