Homage to Africa Rivers.
Nile sounding like Mile
I was told it's an Egyptian river
not obsolete or ordinary;but it is one also not small
not unimportant but one that gives pride to the whole of Africa.
All hail Congo,I'm not talking about a republic but another pride
continental respect, I would say it brings;a nd even abroad
Compared to Nile; longer but both still are our pride.
In respect,we bow to Niger,not Nigeria but sounds like it
indeed it is a remarkable pride
not mentioning River Niger on the list
would be a great disrespect to Nigeria;a big one.
In awe, we welcome Zambezi
with it's metres of about one thousand five hundred
having feathers like that of an hawk;it's wings covering about five countries
what an exceptional wonder it is!
It gladens my heart to see our rivers flow endlessly
making sweet melody like that of a Nightingale
just like a soaring eagle they are unstoppable, undefeatable and unconquerable
one would surely admit that Africa has a say when it comes to rivers!
