A Nigerian woman residing in the United Kingdom has shared the invitation letter she used to bring her mother over for a visit. The letter, addressed to the British Deputy High Commission in Lagos, Nigeria, outlines the purpose and details of the visit
The letter, written by the daughter, explains that this would be the first time in two years that they would be meeting since she and her husband moved to the UK in 2021. The mother is scheduled to visit from February 1st to April 30th, 2024. During her stay, she will be residing in their spacious, privately rented home.
The primary purpose of the visit is to support the family during and after the birth of their second child. The expected date of delivery is February 4th, 2024. The daughter emphasizes that her mother’s presence will provide significant mental, physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to help her recover from the postpartum stress of childbirth.
