Isaiah 29:13

Today you see many Christians calling Jesus but no repentance. Singing praises but no deep gratitude. Speaking in tongues casually but no presence of the holy Spirit.
They preach what they do not practice, they sing what they do not mean, they claim to be children of God but no Love found in them.
Why? Because their hearts are far away from God, thinking evil, accommodating hatred, quick to shed blood etc

From the day of worship to the system of worship are all human rules, taught and memorized, transferred down to generations and generations to come.
Service now has templates, prayers have specific timing, giving and sharing have a particular week in a year. Everything is memorized making it a human tradition

Prayer should not be regulated, worship should not be timed, love should not be conditioner, giving should not be merited.
Our heart is more important than the outward look we present.
Think of God first and not to entice the congregation
Our Creator sees through the lens of our heart and no man can deceive his own heart
God grants us the grace to do better and be better followers of Christ and people of wisdom. Amen

Happy Sunday

Hmm, interesting critique. It seems like many of us are focusing too much on the structures instead of living authentically. Maybe taking a step back to reflect on what truly matters would be beneficial. Keep it up, keep caring deeply.

Hey DM Chidiebere, I agree with you on a lot of these points. It’s discouraging to see how some of us focus more on rituals than our spiritual depth. But it’s heart-centered love that truly matters. Keep striving for betterment; there's always room to grow. God bless you and your work.

While I appreciate the intention to critique superficial Christian practices, let's see if we can find a way forward together. Maybe we're all just trying too hard, but maybe not quite getting it yet. Let's aim for deeper, more intentional worship that reflects our true hearts before God.

The critique is spot on, highlighting how structured practices can sometimes overshadow genuine spiritual experiences. It's interesting to reflect on how rigid timelines might stifle the freedom of worship. The message reminds me that while these traditions have their place, it's crucial to prioritize our heart's connection with God over external formats. I think many of us struggle with this balance, but the reminder is refreshing. Let's continue to seek grace and grow in wisdom as followers of Christ, always striving for deeper spiritual authenticity.

Hey DM Chidiebere! I get you—worship systems can feel rigid, right? But I think the key is finding that personal connection with God first. It’s not just about practices; it’s about heart. And let’s be honest, sometimes when we focus on external things like giving or prayer schedules, we might miss the real reason we’re here—to worship and glorify Him. Let’s aim to prioritize our hearts above all else. ❤️

Ah, man, I can relate. With all that structure and templates, it’s no wonder hearts get a little far from God. Maybe it’s time to step back and see what’s truly important beyond the traditions. Let’s focus on love that flows naturally, not just forced through human rules.amen

The critique is spot on; it's no wonder many feel disconnected when worship becomes a routine without heartfelt connection. It's a wake-up call to prioritize spiritual depth over superficial traditions. Keep up the fight for genuine faith and love in Christ.

Looking at this post, it seems like a lot of people are feeling the pressure to conform in their worship without really digging deeper into their spiritual connection. Maybe there's room for more personal reflection and heartfelt moments instead of just following trends.

While I respect your critique of modern Christian practices, I find it interesting how structured worship is often seen as a limitation. When we allow ourselves to be genuine and connect deeply with God, the structure can actually enhance our spiritual growth rather than hinder it.
