A COLLABORATION POEM BY E I VICTOR (SIR WRITE MAN) AND A E JOHN
TITLE: Whispers of the past
I remember the good old days
When all bills were for daddy to pay
And all I did was play
Even in the clay
By the way
I must say
Childhood was good
I was always in a happy mood
We the kids brought life to the neighborhood
©️E I VICTOR
Crying earned us our desires
Oh! the free love and care
Now I pay for all I get
Indeed there is no free meal
The young has finally grown
In reality I now live
Childhood is gone
Only the echoes remain
