WHEN MY THOUGHTS COLLIDE BECAUSE OF YOU
My thoughts are colliding
not gently,
not softly,
but crashing into each other
like lightning trying to outrun thunder
just to speak your name first.
They race,
they stumble,
they jostle,
they wrestle,
each one fighting for the privilege
to be the first thought
that dares to describe what you do to me
and failing…
because none of them are strong enough
to carry the weight of you.
You have single-handedly
arrested my attention
and seized my existence,
like time itself bowed its head
and whispered,
"Focus on her."
My heart is not beating normally anymore.
It is speaking
in a rhythm I was never taught,
a language my mouth cannot translate,
a melody my soul recognizes
but my mind cannot explain.
And my soul…
my soul is experiencing
a storm of emotions
not even gods are meant to feel
sensations too wild for heaven,
too deep for destiny,
too powerful for any mortal vessel
yet somehow
you awaken them in me
with nothing but your essence.
How do I explain
that you have become the gravitational center
of every wandering thought,
the pulse behind every breath,
the echo behind every silence?
How do I confess
that something inside me rises when I think of you
not softly,
not quietly,
but with the intensity
of a truth that refuses to be hidden?
If emotions had hands,
they would be shaking.
If feelings had a voice,
they would be whispering your name.
If destiny had a heartbeat,
it would be matching mine
right now.
What I feel for you
is not a feeling.
It is a revelation.
A vibration.
A divine disturbance.
Something only your presence
could ever awaken.
