What is Happy ending?

In twilight's hush, where shadows dance and play,
I ponder on the notion of a happy ending's sway,
A concept oft-romanticized, in tales of old and new,
But what lies beyond the façade, of this elusive, coveted truth?

Is it a destination, a finale, a last, lingering breath?
Or is it a journey, a path unwinding, through life's turbulent death?
Is it a feeling, a fleeting high, a moment's peace, a lifetime's sigh?
Or is it a choice, a perspective, a lens through which we view the sky?

Does it reside in grand, sweeping gestures, or in subtle, quiet deeds?
Is it a product of circumstance, or a state of mind that we can read?
Can it be bought, sold, or traded, like a commodity in the marketplace?
Or is it a treasure, hidden deep, that only reveals itself to the heart's darkest space?

Perhaps it's not an ending, at all, but a beginning, anew,
A chance to rewrite the narrative, to redefine what we hold true,
To find the beauty in the brokenness, the light in the darkest night,
To discover that the happy ending, is not a destination, but a perspective, a beacon that shines, like a guiding light.
