WHAT IF....???

If wishes were horses we'd ride
If dreams came true, would we pry?
Wealth and fame we pride
But what if we didn't even have to try?

What if pain never existed?
Would we scuttle to war zones to get enlisted?
Would happiness prevail coz life no longer feels twisted?
Or would we yearn for the days hurt was consistent?

What if love took over its throne?
From the depths of hell to the realms of heaven
With every spark ignited, make itself known
Carrying with it prohetic whispers like a raven

What if time was malleable?
Would life be more supple?
Would we feel the ease to snuggle?
Or would one still end up in a muddle?

What if we could see God?
Talk to Him face to face
Lay down our queries as He immediately fixes
Would dissatisfaction linger still in our minds?

If life was easy, would moments be cherished?
If death led to abundance, would we die twice?
Control over existence we inherently crave
But what if all paths trajected towards the same locus?
