The executive chairman of Potiskum local government area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, has assured YOSADP staff that we must do everything possible to ensure Governor Buni’s commitment to develop agriculture.
The chairman stressed this while visiting their zonal office in the Potiskum local government area to inspect the tractors that the Yobe State Governor H.E. Hon. Mai Mala Buni FCIA, CON, COMN gave to them under the Yobe State Ministry of Agriculture and Mineral Resources.
“Governor Buni donated these tractors to improve agriculture, improve farming and expand agriculture in his bid to transform agriculture into a profitable business to provide livelihoods to thousands of people in Yobe State.
“We must do everything possible to ensure that Governor Buni’s vision of developing the Yobe State economy through agriculture and providing food security and a better life to the good people of Yobe State,” said Hon. Salisu Muktari.
The Chairman also called on the institution to hand over the tractors to deserving beneficiaries and called for a proper and consistent process in line with the directives of the Yobe State Government to hand them over to the beneficiaries.
The Chairman also pledged to ensure that the affairs of the local government are regulated and follow a process in line with the management plan of His Excellency the Governor, H.E. Hon. Mai Mala Buni FCIA CON COMN, to ensure his commitment and achievement of the goals set by his administration to improve the lives of the people.
The Chairman also commended as he promoted the developmental projects in the local government area and improved the lives of the good people of the Potiskum local government area.
