‘We love because he loved us first”.
The reason for this season is not for the food, clothes and accessories,
This thing collects dust and will one day be handcuffed with tears,
So great it can't cope with more wares,
Rather, the reason… for the season,
Is to remember that though our sins were more horrific than treason,
For we were torn between truth and reason.
Jesus came to die,
To bring with him eternal life,
For that, he was torn and battered up,
To a point that could not be covered by make-up,
On that rugged cross, the blood did flow,
Restoring wholeness once again.
Clean your tears, dry your eyes,
For unto you, a King is Upon you,
He is called Emmanuel,
For he shall always be with us.
