Friday “Talk Am As E Be!"
These days, it feels like we no longer know how to pause. Rest has slowly been replaced with content. Sleep has been traded for endless scrolling. Even silence now feels uncomfortable, so we fill it with noise and call it productivity. And then we find ourselves tired in a strange way. The kind of tiredness that sleep alone cannot fix.
That tiredness has a name. But most of us are moving too fast to sit quietly long enough to hear it.
Your body has been speaking to you since the beginning of the year. Small messages here and there. A headache that lingers longer than it should. A heaviness in the body that does not go away after the weekend. But like many unread messages on a phone, we glance at them and move on.
One day the body may stop sending quiet signals and simply act. And that moment often comes in places nobody plans for, a hospital room, a forced pause that could have been avoided.
Rest is not something you give yourself only after everything is finished. It was never meant to be a reward at the end. It is part of the work itself.
