The Executive Chairman of Potiskum Local Government Area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, has restated his unwavering commitment to building a peaceful, united, and progressive Potiskum that provides opportunities for all citizens to thrive.

Hon. Salisu Muktari said his administration is guided by the principles of inclusiveness, transparency, and sustainable development aimed at improving the lives of the people.

“We are building a Potiskum that works for everyone—a united and progressive society anchored on peace, prosperity, and opportunity,” he stated.

The chairman also reaffirmed that peace and unity remain the foundation for growth, urging residents to continue supporting government efforts toward strengthening security, expanding economic activities, and empowering young people and women across the local government.

He expressed appreciation to Governor Mai Mala Buni for his visionary leadership and continued support to local councils, noting that the governor’s policies have created an enabling environment for grassroots transformation.
