Everyone desires to be somethingEach desires embedded with wantingThese wants may be good or badSurely these makes up a ladMany are tempted to go the extra mileSome are willing to wait a whileSome wonder to themselvesWhat a sick faith!That one must waitSome ponder to themselvesWhen will these all go away?I need to find a way!I once remember a childSo meek, gentle and mildWho grew up with preposterous ideas and desiresHe wished that all properties, wealth and fame he could acquireBut he never knew there was more to life than theseAcquire them all he did, but numbered surely were his daysBecause even all the money and fame could not restore his healthMany famous people who believe they have found a friendWill soon realize they are all fiendsThey will soon realize power and money is toxicAnd those faces in plasticWanting a new look to their new achieved heightWould soon be feeling hateTowards their cravingsThey’ll wish they had listened to wise sayingsPeople who have earned their money judiciouslyAnd have worked viciouslyAnd also bear good at the back of their mindLove, peace and joy they shall findBecause God shall bestow on them His merciesAnd they shall be with him bestiesLength of days are their portionsAnd in their projects there shall be no abortionsAnd they shall be pleased with the works of their handsAnd control great bandsMoney, fame and power are but primary to lifeThey are just like a wifeMarry the right one and you shall have peaceMarry the wrong one and you’ll experience piecesPatience is a virtue that cannot be overemphasizedShoes come in varying sizesAnd choosing the right size gives you comfortAnd then you are able to hold the fort
