Neken Chuwang is a multitalented artist who continues to redefine creativity and innovation in the world of music. He hails from Jos, Plateau State, and he's a Beromite (He's Berom by tribe).
Neken has carved a niche and unique path for himself in the world of music, especially on the Plateau. He performes in traditional concert venues, but he also brings his music directly to the people.
An unforgettable experience I had with Neken happened sometimes in August this when I boarded the newly commissioned Tin City Metro bus.
Neken, to everyone's surprise brought out his customized acoustic guitar and strummed rhythmically as the bus buzzed along...
We never wanted to alight the bus simply because the melodies was heartwarming, lovers embraced each other and the Plateau Song was birthed on that bus. (P. S. I think it's one song you should listen to)
Neken is not just a musician. He is a business consultant, a love and relationship coach, an entrepreneur, and the visionary CEO of Yuorit Yoghurt.
He is happily married to the lovely Sammie Teyei, and together they are raising their son. His exceptional talent earned him the prestigious JOINT GOSPEL ARTS AND MUSIC AWARDS (JOGAMA AWARDS).
Interestingly, his brother Nerat Chuwang, alias S.O.N music recently got signed into the Spotlite Nation under the visionary leadership of Moses Bliss...
Personally, I think Music runs in the family bloodline.
