VDM, EFCC AND GT BANK _ injustice and neglect of customer's interest

Over 100,000 customers have closed their GT bank account over the case of VDM, EFCC and the bank in question
Yet no reasonable statement has been released or order of prosecution as required by the law
Now my insight is, if the bank is actually losing customers as believed then something must have been done immediately. But the truth is, those closed accounts have not more than 5k,10k in it sadly. Apparently that does not move either the stock nor the investments of GT bank
It should not surprise you that Nairametric stated in February 2024 that only 5% of over 219.6million active bank accounts have N500,000 and above (that is about 10.98million accounts holders only). Now this 5% has dropped drastically to 2.8% - 3% due to food scarcity, inflation, Insecurity, bank charges, health reasons, miscalculated investment strategy etc. And there is no way these whole 3% account holders would only be the customers of GT bank .
The national bureau of statistics (NBS) reported in 2024 that 92.7% of the working class population is either formally or informally employed. Intelpoint also said that only 2.4% of Nigerians earn above N200k. Do you see the discrepancy? That is, over 90% of the working population earn less than N200k monthly
What does this statistics mean? These figures connote that only about 3% Nigerians have a solid asset or cash in the banks that could give these commercial banks that second thought on issues concerning the interest of their customers as the case of VDM, EFCC and GT bank.

These are two distinct systems working on one accord towards the same disguised goal.
This is another call for the youths, the educated elite, the traditional and religious leaders to wake up and find a solution. For it is better said than not said at all.
