What you need right now as a conscious Nigerian is the understanding of the new tax law.
Moreover, it is NOT tonight that the Earth completes one full orbit around the sun. So do not be fooled that you're entering a new (orbit) year tonight. It is just a continuation with a break to observe a new calendar as First designed by the ancient Egyptian astronomers and priests - Julius Caesar - Pope Gregory XIII. This is not my topic, but our brains have really been unwired.
I saw a lot of unprofessional misleading posts encouraging vulnerable Nigerians to use descriptions like rent, food, gifts, health etc
Your description does not matter in this new tax law. If you can't understand it yourself please get yourself a tax consultant or an accountant with tax exemption knowledge. NOTE not all accountants are knowledgeable in taxation even the ones parading with ICAN.
You see that money you feel is too much to give a tax expert, you'll pay it triple to NRS or JRS.
Please kindly learn the guidelines before you repost illogically and lead thousands to agony.
Kindly note that, for false presentation of records or misrepresentation of records it will cost you about N50k - N100k or even imprisonment.
Late presentation of records will be a problem too.
