In the depths of a continent, where ancestors roam
A legacy of chains, still echoes through the home
The weight of oppression, a burden to bear
A cry for liberation, that's been echoing through the air
But we, the dreamers, the ones who dare
Must rise to shatter, the shackles that impair
Untangle the threads, of a tapestry so fine
Weave a new narrative, where freedom is divine
With every heartbeat, a drumbeat resounds
A call to awakening, that shakes the grounds
Through the voices of the past, we find our strength
A collective resilience, that will bridge the length
From the pyramids to the savannas wide
A story of greatness, that cannot be denied
We'll reclaim our heritage, our culture and pride
And shatter the illusions, that have held us inside
With innovation's fire, and creativity's might
We'll forge a new tomorrow, where all can take flight
So let us march forward, with hope in our eyes
Unshackling Africa's soul, and reaching for the skies
