University Minimum Entry Age

I have no issues with government pegging a minimum age requirement for entry into Nigerian universities. It is a good call that I believe has laudable objectives.
But, we cannot deny the fact that some secondary school students graduate at ages 15/16. I am not saying that they should be allowed entry into university at that age. I believe that students seeking to pursue higher education should be physically and emotionally mature in addition to completing their secondary education.
My take is this - Students who have e graduated after completing secondary school should be allowed to take up vocational and/or technical training preferably in their school of choice post-jamb. Such technical training will be preparing them for life. A lot of young people don't know what the plan to do after school. Such a program will help them in their decision making
