UK PM, Starmer attacks spread of 'lies' on grooming gangs

Prime minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer has attacked politicians and activists, whom he said are spreading lies and misinformation over grooming gangs.
It comes after multi-billionaire Elon Musk accused Starmer of being complicit in the rape of Britain during his tenure as director of public prosecutions for failing to tackle grooming gangs.
However, Starmer said those responsible for spreading lies and misinformation as far and as wide as possible are not interested in victims, but in themselves.
He said the online debate has crossed the line, resulting in threats against Members of Parliament.
Describing child sexual exploitation as utterly sickening, the Prime Minister defended his record in office as director of public prosecutions, saying he tackled the issue head on.
