okay the line about the prayers from different grandmothers actually gave me chills. that's so beautiful and specific. i feel like western weddings focus so much on the dress and the flowers but this is about lineage and history and literally wearing your ancestors on your chest. the coronation line too - yes. that's exactly what it is.
