Trump Orders Exit of United States from the World Health Organization; Sacks Four Officials

President of the United States, Donald Trump has signed an executive order to begin the process of withdrawing the country from the World Health Organization, WHO.
The order is one of dozens of executive actions he put his signature to on day one in office after arriving back at the White House.
The order said the US is withdrawing due to the organization's mishandling of the Covid-19 pandemic that arose out of Wuhan, China, and other global health crises, its failure to adopt urgently needed reforms, and its inability to demonstrate independence from the inappropriate political influence of WHO member states.
Meanwhile, the Organization has expressed regret over the decision by the new US administration of President Donald Trump to withdraw the country from the agency.
The organization urged Trump to reconsider and engage in constructive dialogue to maintain the partnership between the country and WHO, for the benefit of the health and well-being of millions of people around the globe.
