TIME, PURPOSE AND DIRECTION

Many aspire to become wealthy in the course of life which some people interchange as being rich. But only a handful becomes truly wealthy.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE RICH? Being rich is a financial situation where one is capable of meeting all his needs including luxuries, investment and fame at the detriment of time
BEING WEALTHY is a mental and financial state where one is capable of generating revenue progressively without much outdoor activities thereby having enough time for health, trips, relaxation and family.
TIME as we know is the most valuable commodity. The time spent idle cannot be recovered. The time invested in learning cannot be regretted. As the popular saying goes "TIME WAITS FOR NO MAN"
A sick person needs time to recover, a dead person needs time to be forgotten, a company takes time to build a reputation, businesses take time to grow, wealth needs time to be accumulated.
Therefore, what differs the RICH from the WEALTHY is the TIME available for extra activities and the FINANCIAL UNDERSTANDING of the individual towards creation of wealth.
Now Knowing the difference between the Rich and the Wealthy to be majorly Time and then ability to geometric multiplication of wealth, what has Time got to do with purpose and direction.
TIME, PURPOSE AND DIRECTION
The term PURPOSE works along with the adverb WHY. For example, why are you here? Why are you studying engineering? Why are you created?
WHY is used to define the extent of one's purpose that causes him to be in action or at motion.
According to JAMES CLEAR in his book titled ATOMIC HABITS, He defined MOTION as the process of planning, strategizing and learning. While ACTION are those behaviors that will deliver results. Motion does not give results it only prepares you for a believed result. For example, attending lectures will not give you results, this is just MOTION but studying and taking exams will give you a desired result, this is ACTION.
WHY are you in action or motion to be rich? This question is saying what is your purpose for aspiring to be rich? Do you want to be rich because everyone craves for their own money? Do you want to be rich because you were denied access to things and places? Do you want to be rich because it makes you feel secure and a better person? Some want to be rich but they do not know the purpose they want to attain that level of satisfaction.
DIRECTION: To use the elevator as a first timer you need to follow directions. To play a guitar you need direction from a tutor. To be a good soccer player you need direction from your coach.
Direction emphasizes more on "HOW TO" not where to.
Where to signify location but in this context, direction connotes "HOW".
A young boy will say I want to be wealthy. Aged parents will say I wished we were wealthy. But nobody says this is HOW I want to be wealthy (indicating DIRECTION). Skill does not give you wealth. Education does not give wealth. Being talented does not make anyone wealthy. They give leverage to a certain level to make riches. What makes one wealthy is DETAILED DIRECTION.
Many people want to be wealthy but they do not know how. Some may say with their skill or level of education acquired they will be wealthy. But that is not a direction, it is just a purpose in motion with TIME but without result. Skill will give you money but not wealth because it lacks proper DIRECTION. For example, an accounting student that wants to be skilled in his field would say, after my graduation i will work towards getting my masters degree, then I will go for my professional exams ICAN, after that I can work for a couple of audit and tax firms to gather experience, then start up my audit firm, then write my international professional exams ACCA for global opportunities.
Now this is a detailed direction of being wealthy through education. Like I said DIRECTION asks the question of "HOW" and HOW gives answers in steps or stages.
Therefore, PURPOSE is said to be an auditor that examines financial statements and gives an independent report to users of the account by asking the "WHY" question
The DIRECTION is the collective steps to attain that height as an auditor by asking the "HOW" questions which are listed above.
THE TIME is the costliest factor that must be present to achieve whatever one desires through having a PURPOSE that is led by a DIRECTION.
IN CONCLUSION
One should not worry about TIME because it is always there even after we have gone. But we should bother more about what PURPOSE that drives us to be Wealthy and in which DIRECTION should we move the actions that will yield the desired result.
But instead many people want to be wealthy with too many unnecessary engagements occupying their TIME and having no PURPOSE for their desired wealth except for mere egos, without having a detailed DIRECTION on how to get to that peak.
Therefore, WEALTH is not acquired by skill, talent or education but it is the function of appropriate TIME invested, detailed DIRECTION and a purposeful ACTION.
