Three, yet one!

Three friends spent most of their childhood together,
Three friends shared memories no one could alter.
Surely they would be friends forever—

Today, I tell the tale of three young minds,
Who kept each other’s company through endless finds,
Who didn’t mind going anywhere, as long as it was together.
They held hands, sang songs, danced as if tomorrow might never come.

When the sun passed its baton to the moon,
They knew their joy would soon have to make room.
Mama’s voice would drift on the night’s gentle breeze,
Sweet and bitter screams, bringing warmth yet a slight unease.

The good news? Hungry bellies would be filled.
The sad news? Their precious moments had to still.
Tomorrow, O lovely tomorrow! was all they’d dream of,
Another day to share laughter and love.

Nakedness was nothing more than a word in their play;
Fun was their bookmark, guiding them each day.
They knew only good, spoke only of the best—
Even their fights were simply tests.

Love unmatched, a bond too strong to sever,
A love that held them, steady and clever.
A love that embraced each one as they came,
Telling a tale of simple joy, free from fame.
Indeed they were three, yet one!

It’s just a piece about how a typical day in my childhood felt like. Sheer joy and ecstasy !!
